It’s Spooky Season and we have a recipe for Cannabis Halloween Rice Krispie Treats that’ll be the HIGH-light of any Halloween party!
October is the perfect time of year to make pumpkin shaped rice krispie treats. Kellogg’s even releases an orange Rice Krispies edition for Halloween every year so you could make this a yearly tradition. Wether you make it one time, or all the time, you’re sure to enjoy this delicious cannabis rice krispie treat recipe.
Items Needed for Cannabis Halloween Rice Krispie Treats:
Large pot
Spatula
Baking pan
Ice Cream Scoop
Baking Sheet
Parchment Paper
Cannabis Halloween Rice Krispie Treats Ingredients:
6 T cannabutter or cannabis-infused coconut oil
1 bag of mini marshmallows (10 ounces)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 t salt
6 cups Rice Krispies Shockingly Orange Colored Cereal
Chocolate chips for garnish
Instructions:
Step 1: Add the cannabutter or coconut oil to your pot medium-low heat. Let it melt, which takes about 2-3 minutes.
Step 2: Once the cannabutter or coconut oil is melted, begin stirring in the marshmallows. Use the spatula to mix until ingredients are melted and mixed well.
Step 3: Turn the heat off and remove pot from heat. Stir in the vanilla, salt, and Rice Krispies Shockingly Orange Colored Cereal. Make sure to coat all of the cereal with the marshmallow mixture.
Step 4: Next, use the ice cream scoop to scoop and form your pumpkin shaped cannabis rice krispie treats. Place each one on your baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 5: Allow your cannabis rice krispy pumpkins to cool for 30 minutes before topping each of them with a chocolate chip stem.
